Bought this to help with my hectic schedule—I’m always commuting between Brooklyn and Jersey for work. The app is kinda cool, lets me preheat on my way home so dinner’s ready faster. Chicken wings come out ace, and my kids actually eat the roasted veggies now (shocker). Build quality feels sturdy, though the basket’s a bit tricky to clean after sticky sauces. Still, beats eating overpriced takeout every night. Four stars only ‘cause the app glitched once, but otherwise, no major complaints.
Honestly, I was skeptical at first coz my kitchen is tiny and it’s always so humid here that frying stuff makes the whole room feel like a sauna. But this Philips airfryer? Absolute lifesaver! Made crispy bhajiyas without any oil splatter, and my mum—who’s super traditional—even said they tasted better than her deep-fried ones. Delivery was quick, packaging was neat, no damage. Only thing is it’s a bit bulky but totally worth the counter space. Now I’m experimenting with reheating samosas and making quick tikkas for unexpected guests. Bloody brilliant!
Look, it does the job for quick dinners after a long shift at the hospital. Fish and chips turn out decent, and I like that I don’t have to watch it like a hawk. But mate, it’s loud—like, really loud—and the cord’s too short for my UK plug setup. Had to use an extension, which is a faff. Also took ages to arrive; box was a bit banged up but the fryer itself was fine. It’s good, not great. Maybe I expected too much after all the hype.
Philips is not surprising, very good and high quality
I was honestly surprised by how premium this thing felt straight out of the box, especially for the price.
I like it ??
It has a very strong fan. It cooked the fried eggplant very well, I haven't tried the other dishes yet because I just bought it; It dries a little during cooking, there is no problem when oil is sprayed on the food. It has a very practical and easy to use.
It is a very good and useful good, but what you should pay attention to is that you have a place in the kitchen because it is very big.
