Ninja BN750UK: jug or cup, and is it right for you?
The Ninja BN750UK makes sense if you want one appliance for a shared jug of smoothies and a drink made straight in a personal cup. It is less suitable if your main jobs are blending hot soup, slicing vegetables or kneading dough. Start with those jobs, rather than motor wattage or the number of programmes.
This is a buying guide based on the manufacturer’s specifications and instructions, not a hands-on review. It explains what the two containers change in daily use and what to check before choosing the Ninja BN750UK at Tiny Lux.
What does “2-in-1” actually mean?
Here, it means a jug blender and a personal blender sharing one motor base. Ninja lists a 2.1-litre jug and a 700ml single-serve cup with a spout lid. The jug uses its stacked blade assembly; the cup uses the separate Pro Extractor blade assembly.
Those are container sizes, not permission to fill either vessel to the brim. Follow the marked maximum fill lines and the instructions for the ingredients you are using. Space for liquid and movement matters as much as the volume of fruit you can fit inside.
Choose the container around your routine
The jug: several servings, one batch
The jug is the natural choice when you want to share a smoothie or prepare a larger quantity of sauce. You serve the finished mixture into other containers, so include the jug, lid and blade assembly in your washing-up plan. A large vessel is not automatically the most convenient option for one small drink.
The cup: blend where you will drink
The cup suits a single drink and reduces the need to transfer it to another vessel. After blending, follow the instructions for removing the blade assembly and fitting the drinking lid. Think about your whole recipe, including liquid, before deciding whether it fits below the cup’s maximum line.

What Auto-iQ does—and what it does not
The BN750UK has Blend, Max Blend and Crush automatic programmes, plus Low, Medium, High and Pulse manual controls. Auto-iQ combines blending, pulses and pauses. It does not decide whether your recipe needs more liquid, whether you have overloaded a container or whether an ingredient is appropriate.
Use the programme options available for the fitted container and follow Ninja’s recipe guidance. A 1200W motor rating is an electrical specification, not a guarantee that every mixture will have the texture you want. Ingredients, quantities and preparation still affect the result.
Three jobs that call for a different appliance
- Hot soup: Ninja’s BN750UK instructions prohibit blending hot liquids. Choose an appliance expressly designed for that job if blending directly after cooking is essential. A larger jug does not remove this restriction.
- Slicing and grating: the supplied jug and cup are not a food-processor bowl with slicing or grating discs. Look for those attachments on the actual appliance you are comparing.
- Kneading dough: “2-in-1” does not mean a stand mixer or a supplied dough-processing system. Do not assume another Ninja model’s functions or attachments apply to this one.
Check space, cleaning and replacements
Measure where the assembled blender will stand, including clearance for removing the jug and opening cupboards above it. You also need somewhere to store whichever container and blade assembly you are not using. Compare that footprint with a personal blender if you rarely make more than one serving.
Read the cleaning instructions before buying. Sharp removable blades need careful handling, and the motor base is not a washable container. Check replacement parts by the exact BN750UK model code; similar-looking cups and accessories are not proof of compatibility.
Who should choose it?
Choose the BN750UK when both shared cold blends and personal drinks are regular jobs in your kitchen. Choose a simpler personal blender if only the cup would get used, or a processor-equipped system if food preparation is the priority.
Compare the current listing with the Tiny Lux blender range, checking the supplied accessories, electrical specification and current availability. The useful comparison is the work each machine can actually do, not how many appliances its name seems to promise.
