Ninja Foodi AF500UK and AF300UK dual air fryers compared

Ninja AF500UK vs AF300UK: Which Ninja Dual Air Fryer Should You Buy?

Both are excellent Ninja dual air fryers, but they solve slightly different problems. The AF300UK is the value dual-zone workhorse; the AF500UK FlexDrawer adds a removable divider so it can also be one big drawer. Here's how to choose.

What they share

Both use Ninja's dual-zone system: two cooking areas you can run at different temperatures and times, with SYNC Finish so different foods are ready together. Both deliver the fast, crispy results Ninja is known for, with up to ~75% less fat than deep frying, dishwasher-safe parts, and big energy savings versus a conventional oven.

Where the AF500UK pulls ahead

The difference is the removable divider. With it in, you have two independent 5.2L zones. Take it out and you get a single 10.4L MegaZone — big enough for a 2kg chicken or a full roast for 8+. That's something the AF300UK simply can't do: its two 3.8L drawers are fixed. The AF500UK is also slightly more powerful and adds a Prove function for dough. The trade-offs: it's a noticeably bigger unit on the counter, and it costs more.

Where the AF300UK wins

At 7.6L the AF300UK is plenty for couples and small families, takes up less space, and costs less. If you'll mostly cook two portions side by side and never need one giant drawer, it's the better-value buy — you'd be paying for FlexDrawer flexibility you won't use.

Which should you buy?

  • Get the AF300UK if you cook for 1–4, want to save money and counter space, and two fixed zones suit your cooking.
  • Get the AF500UK FlexDrawer if you want maximum flexibility — two zones or one big drawer — and you cook for a larger household or batch-cook.

The bottom line

If capacity and flexibility matter, the AF500UK FlexDrawer is the more capable machine and the one most families will get more from. If you want excellent dual-zone air frying at a lower price and smaller footprint, the AF300UK is the smart-value pick.
